CAD VLSI Engineer
About The Position
Retym is a leading technology company specializing in asic design and development. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CAD VLSI Engineer to join our team. As a CAD VLSI Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of cutting-edge integrated circuits and systems. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and advance your career in the field of VLSI design.
Responsibilities:
- Own VLSI automation flows
- Support GIT version control system
- Build VLSI dashboard for high-level reporting (PowerBI or other)
- EDA tools for design, backend and verification tools flow setup
- Manage Linux project and cloud environments in partnership with the IT team
- Provide first-level support to VLSI engineers
- Create regression tools and flows
- Release process
- EDA tool installation
- Python/scripting
- Support post-silicon validation and debugging activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in VLSI design methodologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as CAD eng. at the VLSI design flow, from RTL 2 GDS
- Good knowledge of the VLSI design stages
- Experience with EDA tools of main vendors (Synopsys, Siemens, etc.)
- Scripting capabilities - Python, tcl, perl, etc.
- GIT control system knowledge
- Computer resources and licenses understanding to maximize capabilities
- High capability to understand the need and provide solution
- Optimization of existing and new work flows
- Good team player
- Experience with cloud compute infrastructure (AWS, Azure) – an advantage
- Manage Linux project and cloud environments in partnership with the IT team – an advantage
