System HW Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a Hardware Engineer with proven expertise in high-speed digital board design and hands-on experience with simulation tools for signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and RF analysis (HFSS, CST, or similar). The role involves designing, simulating, and validating complex PCBs that meet stringent performance and reliability requirements.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-speed multi-layer digital PCBs (e.g., DDR, PCIe, SerDes, high-speed serial links).
- Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) simulations to validate and optimize designs.
- Use RF and EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST, or equivalent) to analyse interconnects, vias, and structures affecting high-speed performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, software, mechanical) to ensure seamless system integration.
- Generate and maintain schematics (ORCAD), PCB layouts (Allegro), and design documentation.
- Lead design reviews, root-cause analysis, prototype validation and bring-ups in the Lab.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in high-speed digital or RF board design.
- Strong hands-on experience with SI/PI simulation tools and RF/EM simulation (HFSS, CST, or similar).
- Deep understanding of high-speed interfaces, clock distribution, and power delivery networks.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design practices and board bring-up/debug.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
