System Integration Engineer

About The Position

We are looking for an excellent system engineer, experienced in the optical communication industry. Your responsibilities will cover all aspects: technical budgeting, noise, signals, operation modes, specifications, algorithms, SW, control, chip design, DSP, analog, lab work and integrations.


Requirements


Job requirements:

  • 5 years of hands-on experience and proven in hardware development and system integration
  • Expertise in hardware design for embedded applications including microcontrollers, SOC, FPGA, peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C)
  • Experience with bring-up, debug, and validation of mixed signal designs
  • Hands on experience with test equipment including scopes, network analyzers, multi-meters, optical system instruments (advantage) and more
  • Good knowledge of PCB boards Schematic/Layout creation and debug
  • Strong team player, solid interpersonal skills. Working with on-site and off-site vendors/manufactures
  • Entrepreneurial can-do attitude, self-motivated, able to work independently
  • B.Sc/M.Sc. in EE/CE from lead universities +

 Proven knowledge:

  • Knowledge with system QA automation tools and coding
  • Experience in system debugging , ability to analyze problems, diagnose and apply creative actions
  • Work with customers and integrations

Background in one or more of the following domains is an advantage:

  • Familiar with advanced system and design tools
  • High speed serdes integration
  • PHY/RF system experience - advantage
  • Analog domain system experience with High-speed ADC’s, DAC’s ,PLL’s - advantage
  • Ethernet (100G and above)
  • Chips packaging design experience
  • Proven full production in mass production
